Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Digital Press Operator to join our commercial printing team. This position is responsible for the setup, operation, and maintenance of high-speed digital printing equipment, ensuring high-quality output, color accuracy, and production efficiency. The ideal candidate will be a reliable team player with a strong understanding of digital printing workflows and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues on the fly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate digital presses (HP Indigo and similar) to produce high-quality print materials according to job specifications.
- Perform file and job pre-flighting, ripping, imposition, and digital print file management.
- Monitor print quality and color consistency throughout production; perform calibrations as needed.
- Conduct routine maintenance and minor repairs on digital press equipment.
- Collaborate with prepress, finishing, and sales teams to meet deadlines and project requirements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve press and file-related issues quickly and effectively.
- Maintain accurate production logs, usage data, and job ticket information.
- Ensure compliance with company safety policies and quality control standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 2+ years operating digital presses for commercial printing and the like.
- Technical Skills: Strong mechanical aptitude and technical problem skills.

- Working Knowledge: Understanding of digital printing workflows, color management and RIP software.
