HOURS Friday-Sunday, 3:00 a.m. 3:00 p.m. POSITIONSUMMARY The Press Operator is responsible for setting up and operating aMark Andy or similar printing machine to produce print on label rolls.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Examine job orders to determine details such asquantities to be printed, production times, stock specifications, andanilox BCM. Monitor feeding, printing, and racking processes of pressesto maintain specified operating levels and to detect malfunctions,making adjustments as necessary. Select and install printing plates,rollers, feed guides, gauges, screens, stencils, dies, and cylinders inmachines according specifications, using hand tools. Ensure work arearemains within 5S standards. Troubleshoot and solve problems as theyarise on the machine you are operating. Other duties, as assigned.Requirements: REQUIRED High School Diploma or GED.
