Pressman Jobs in Batavia, OH

A Pressman, also known as a Printing Press Operator, is an essential professional in the printing industry tasked with the responsibility of managing the printing press. Their main duties involve setting up and operating the printing press, making necessary adjustments to ensure quality, carrying out regular maintenance activities, and troubleshooting any mechanical issues that may arise. They are also responsible for loading paper, mixing inks and ensuring the correct color balance. Prior to becoming a Pressman, an individual may have held positions such as a Bindery Operator, where they would gain experience with assembling, binding, and trimming printed materials, a Prepress Technician, handling the setting up of printing presses for operation, or an Ink Mixer, where they would gain expertise in color theory and ink mixing.
